About Me

I’m Bruna, a psychologist working in HR, passionate for Employee Relations, and currently based in London.

My day-to-day involves navigating some of the most complex and human parts of the workplace: conflict, grievances, difficult conversations, and the kind of situations that don’t have a clean answer in any policy manual. It’s the work that happens when things go wrong, and sometimes, when they quietly go right.

I moved from Brazil to the UK early in my career, at a point when I was still figuring out what I wanted to build professionally. That move taught me more than any training could. It taught me how much of work is about people, their behaviour, their fears, their unspoken expectations, and the invisible dynamics that shape every team, every meeting, every performance review.

This site is where I process all of that.

It’s not a personal diary. But it’s not a textbook either. It sits somewhere in the middle, grounded in research and professional experience, but written for real people who want to understand what’s actually happening around them at work.

Here you’ll find writing on:

  • Workplace wellbeing and psychological stress
  • Burnout, emotional fatigue, and cognitive load
  • Behaviour, bias, and power dynamics at work
  • What the research actually says โ€” and what it looks like in practice

If you’ve ever sat in a meeting and thought something isn’t right here but I can’t name it, this is for you.

I write daily. I try to be honest. And I always try to say something worth your time.
